JulieAnne is a skilled program designer and facilitator with over ten years of experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. As a lifelong Washingtonian, she is energized by the power of philanthropy to move resources toward greater social and racial justice throughout the Northwest. JulieAnne comes to this work with experience as both a grantmaker and grants manager at a global foundation, an outreach officer and organizer for youth voter engagement and a participant in several community-based giving circles. JulieAnne has a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in political science and diversity in higher education from Western Washington University.

JulieAnne lives in White Salmon, Washington. She enjoys exploring her home in the Columbia River Gorge through skiing at Mount Hood, veggie gardening, identifying wildflowers and painting watercolors of her surroundings.
