Meredith is a multidisciplinary organizational leader guided by equity, community and personal growth. As a fourth-generation Japanese American and fifth-generation Chinese American, she sees the learning of her own family and cultural history as the catalyst for her passion for exploring and influencing the narratives that shape our society. She is motivated by the power of storytelling to foster connection and drive equitable and just systems change. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and the University of Washington School of Law, Meredith is a licensed attorney whose career in the social sector has spanned national and regional work in public policy, legal advocacy, strategic communications, cross-sector partnerships and engagement with diverse communities.

Meredith lives in her hometown of Seattle, where she is endlessly on the lookout for coffee shops and neighborhood festivals. She is also an avid fan of the city's professional sports teams and enjoys the connection that they bring with different people across the region.
