Michael learned the importance of teamwork and perseverance through participating in sports. Customer service was instilled in him when he worked at Franklin Templeton Investments and it has proven to be an important part of his success in the subsequent jobs he has held. These attributes, skills and experience are what he brings to Philanthropy Northwest in his role as manager of office and operations. Michael works on helping our staff work efficiently by ensuring that they have the proper tools to perform their tasks. If someone in Philanthropy Northwest needs IT support, tools for a project or something else of this nature, Michael is their go-to person.

Michael has an associate degree in computer technology and has years of experience in managing employees and offices. Although this is his first time working at a nonprofit organization, he is excited to help support the organization's mission of building resilient, equitable and inclusive communities in the Pacific Northwest. He lives in King County with his wife and two sons, and his daughter lives in California and visits them several times a year.
