Mika is a compassionate marketing specialist who uses her communications skills to share diverse perspectives and stories. She has roots in the greater Seattle area and had a brief stint living in Southern California, where she soaked up as much sunshine as she could! Mika always had an interest in working in the philanthropic sector and comes to Philanthropy Northwest with experience working at a housing authority based in King County and a women's foundation focused on giving in Washington state. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and entrepreneurship and a minor in women’s studies from Chapman University.  

Mika calls the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle home and enjoys listening to a good podcast, going to concerts and comedy shows and trying restaurants of all types in the area. She is a proud, half-Filipino daughter of a single mother and you can find her around Seattle looking for the perfect ube latte.
