Originally from British Columbia and raised in Hawai'i, Oesa (oh-we-sah) has called the Pacific Northwest her home for over 30 years now. With prior experience in the nonprofit sector and public education, Oesa is excited to delve into the world of philanthropy and join the team at Philanthropy Northwest. In her role as Executive Assistant and Board Coordinator, Oesa directly supports our CEO and board members. 

Oesa holds master’s degrees in public administration and international studies from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Oregon. She has a strong commitment to DEI work, both personally and professionally, and is an enthusiastic life-long learner. In her free time, Oesa enjoys traveling, running, yoga, hiking, live music shows and exploring the wide variety of delicious restaurants in our area.
