About this event

Join Philanthropy Northwest and the Regional Community Foundation Network for a conversation about how we can better support students during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Megan McElroy, Oregon Community Foundation's program officer for scholarships, and Meg Lindsay, Innovia Foundation's director of education programs, will share how each of their foundations is supporting students during this time. We will discuss:

  • How their scholarship programs have adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • What changes they made that will continue after the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Innovia Foundation’s development of a supported promise scholarship model (similar to the Say YES to Education initiative)
  • How both foundations are supporting underserved students right now

This call is designed to be an informal conversation for participants to share questions, challenges and solutions with each other.

Please contact Mares Asfaha with any questions.
