We are excited to welcome two more talented consultants to our growing team at The Giving Practice: Leslie Silverman and Lynda Bourque Moss.
We are ecstatic that Leslie Silverman has joined as an Associate Partner. Leslie has consulted with many of our members in the past including Washington STEM, Thrive by Five and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has several areas of expertise including grants management such as design, goals, best practices and online systems, and she has also worked extensively with family foundations. Prior to consulting, she worked with the Corporation for National and Community Service in Washington, D.C. and also the Gates Foundation in Seattle. Leslie is based in Philanthropy Northwest’s Seattle office.
Lynda Bourque Moss
We’re also pleased to introduce Lynda Bourque Moss. Lynda served as the Executive Director of the Foundation for Community Vitality and also as a state senator in Montana. She offers expertise on policy related work, facilitation, and program design. She is passionate about Liberating Structures which are a set of tools used to engage groups and identify creative ideas in often unexpected ways. Lynda recently presented on strategies that foundations can use to leverage their grants at our Best Practices in Grantmaking workshop. You’ll want her to lead your next retreat! Lynda lives in Billings, Montana.
